DAMAC Real Estate Development Limited (“DAMAC”) Joins Emirates Green Building Council

Dubai, UAE, 22 May 2023: One of the UAE’s leading real estate developers, DAMAC has put another step forward in strengthening its commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices through its partnership with the Emirates Green Building Council.

The Emirates Green Building Council was formed in 2006 with the goal of advancing green building principles for protecting the environment and ensuring sustainability in the United Arab Emirates. As active members of the society and in ensuring the linear growth of the UAE’s economy, there is a responsibility of leading corporate organisations to implement practices that secure our future generations.

The announcement comes a year after the company signed up as an active member of the US Green Building Council, the foremost coalition of leaders working to transform the way buildings are designed, built and operated.
